The Klubhaus Concept
Are the best talents willing to return to the physical office 5 days a week? Can you really build a high performance team 100% remote? I think that in both cases the answer is NO. Therefore we are happy to return this month to the office ... more or less.
From now on WIESEMANN 1893 follows its own "Klubhaus Konzept":
- 1 fixed day at the office (full house) for meetings and socializing
- 4 days whereever people think they are the most productive
Just like a regular clubhouse we meet once a week while everyone can still come by everyday. We aim to react to the individual needs and preferences of our team. As the working habits and preferences of people are super individual we try to respond by providing work space while giving the freedom to work remote 4 days per week.
During the pandemic we have seen that remote work is a viable option for many employees to reduce commuting and improve work life balance. Nevertheless some employees (like me self) enjoy a better physical separation between work and private life. Therefore we trust that finally everyone has to find his sweetspot for working as productive as possible.
One of the major downsides of remote working was the creative process. I still prefer physical meeting for creative projects. Therefore we aim to keep one office day to enhance exchange in our team and work on early stage concepts.
