Gen Z Founders? Yes, Please.
The future of entrepreneurship is looking bright, and we can all thank the next generation of young founders for it. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend an event organized by the Young Founders Network at CODE University of Applied Sciences. With the support of Bertelsmann Stiftung, the organizers put together an incredible event for young founders that left me feeling excited about the future of entrepreneurship.
Here are some reasons why we should all be thrilled about the next generation of entrepreneurs:
Bootstrapping is Popular The majority of young founders are not solely chasing VC money, but instead are opting to bootstrap their companies. This is an indication of their desire to build sustainable businesses that do not rely on external funding to survive.
Dedication and Motivation - The dedication and motivation of Gen Z founders are inspiring. They are willing to work tirelessly to achieve their goals and see their ideas come to fruition. Their drive and passion for entrepreneurship are refreshing and give me hope for the future.
AI and Content Production Capabilities - This next generation of entrepreneurs is well-equipped with tools such as AI and has a remarkable ability to produce high-quality content. Their proficiency in utilizing AI tools is impressive and allows them to create content at an incredible pace.
Meme Creation - While attending the event, I also learned a valuable lesson: One little story can turn you into a meme. So, entrepreneurs need to be cautious when it comes to sharing stories. 😉
I had the pleasure of kicking off the event by sharing some tips and lessons learned over the last ten years of ups and downs. This next generation of entrepreneurs has a unique rollercoaster ride ahead of them, filled with exciting opportunities like green tech and AI.
Overall, the Young Founders Network event was an excellent reminder that the future of entrepreneurship is in good hands. With such talented and driven young people leading the way, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
