The collection consists of eight designs from mechanical toys to gardening tools. Enjoy the rainy winter days and get prepared for the gardening season with you kids. All designs come free of charge to download at Enable 3D. If you have a 3D printer we can highly recommend to spend some time to investigate recycled filaments. For the collection we used the rPLA from Reflow from the Candy colour range.
Besides the cool idea to make the perfect last minute gift to your nephew and niece this collection showcases perfectly the power of additive manufacturing. With the help of 3D printing we can change the structure of industries.
Based on our approach we showcase that the future of the toy industry is not writte in stone. We do not rely on central manufacturing in Asia. We are able to put our creativity and technical infrastructure to work and can design and manufacture toys decentrally whereever we are.
For the collection and prototyping we have tested a lot the recycled filament and it works awesome. I really appreaciate the idea to be able to produce fully recycled toys rather than buy a cheaply made imported to from virgin plastic.
